Candy Cane Children

Watson and Cassy are two extremely eccentric people. They go everywhere and are not really interested in any one’s opinion other that one another. Both are well respected academic journalists in their field of study and are mainly called in as consultants for chemical and pharmaceutical companies.  They have always worked closely and are deeply devoted to each other.

From this shared kinship of spirit they have adopted a number of habits and social policies that make often make them very hard for others to understand.  They both are extremely intelligent an very well educated but make it a point to use poor grammar and play up their thick southern dialects while being overly polite to everyone they meet. The reason for this is multifaceted.  Firstly it is as not to seem pretentious to others who might be intimidated by their intellect. Also it is an intentional method of picking out and avoiding people who would look down on others based on preconceptions and have overly judgmental attitudes. They both love to listen and learn from anyone about any topic they are enthusiastic about and happy to share about the topics that fascinate them, but are keen to avoid the tedium of debate. They believe that information is a passion to be sought and shared rather than pointlessly argued by two parties that have already made up their minds any way.

Another social game they like to play is to be purposefully vague about the nature of their relationship. Specifically they try to make it a point to be confusing about whether they are cousins or lovers. As I also find this particularly amusing and so I also decline to clarify this issue. However I will assure you that they are not both.

They are both very passionate about music. They idolize the White stripes and can play covers of most of their songs. While the do have some difference of opinion when it comes to musical tastes. They are enough in agreement to share the mutual hobby of playing and recording together and like to perform to gather at lectures and seminars they are either hosting or attending together in relation to their professions.
